Views

Configurable views appear in the following areas of the Flatplanner interface in the STEP Workbench:

  • Basket view
  • Financial Summary view
  • Sticker Book view
  • Plan Notes tab (limited to sorting and filtering only)
  • Publication Planner

Note: The Publication Planner has its own unique set of view elements. As such, the only instructions in this documentation section that are applicable to the Publication Planner are for maintaining, sorting, and filtering views—not editing the options within the views. For more information, refer to the Publication Planner section of this guide here.

All views display in a tabular, column-based format except for those in the Sticker Book view. A number of configuration options are available for each view, allowing them to be tailored for more efficient or personalized use. Elements can be added to each view to display additional information about each object linked to the Flatplanner page, such as ID, Name, attribute values, image thumbnails, and space usage on InDesign pages. View elements can also be sorted and filtered when displayed in columns.

New views can be created and existing views can be copied, renamed, or deleted. Views can be made public, available to all users, or private, only available to individual users. By default, there is always one view available when Print Flatplanner is first installed. This view serves as the starting point for creating new views.
