Details

New Loqate Cloud endpoint

With this update, a new Cloud endpoint from the third-party address standardization service, Loqate, replaces the endpoint that is currently used by STEP’s Loqate Cloud integration.

The new Loqate Cloud endpoint is enabled by default for those systems with the Address Validation Service commercial license enabled. All existing Loqate Cloud API license keys provide access to the new API. Any Loqate Cloud API calls will seamlessly be made through the new API upon taking the 2024.2 update.

The endpoint performs faster and more efficiently than the existing Loqate Cloud endpoint that it replaces.

For detailed information, refer to the 2024.2 Update Guide and to the Loqate Integration in STEP On-Premises Deployments topic in the Data Integration documentation.

Label changes in Machine Learning Matcher and Matching component model

Three labels have been changed within the Machine Learning Matcher configuration dialog and the Matching component model to enhance clarity and ensure coherence across configuration dialogs.

Changes in the Machine Learning Matcher configuration dialog:

  • ‘Model Version’ has been renamed to ‘Version’.

  • ‘Nickname CSV Asset’ has been renamed to ‘Person Name Alias Group CSV Asset’.

Changes in the Matching component model:

  • ‘Person Name Alias Group Asset Type’ has been renamed to ‘Person Name Alias Group CSV - Asset Object Type’.

These label changes do not affect the functionality of the system, and no action is required from users.

For detailed information, refer to the Matcher: Machine Learning Matcher topic and the Configuring Matching Component Model topic, both in the Matching, Linking, and Merging documentation.
