Summary
The following enhancements have been made to the Customer and Supplier Master Data Management solution with the 2023.3 (11.3) release. These updates are outlined below and described in the Details section that follows:

Users now have the option to apply Attribute Control Type Rules when configuring the display and behavior of attribute values in the Web UI. This option gives system administrators additional flexibility as it enables them to specify rules for specific attributes and apply different settings on different screens if needed.

A new Globally Configured Unfolding Data Container component has been added that allows users to display data container attribute values within an expanded view on a Node Details screen and facilitates the creation and maintenance of data containers.
Additionally, updates to the faceted search functionality as it relates to entities and data containers have also been made with this release. For additional information on these enhancements, including a video, refer to the Faceted Search Enhancements release note.

New Attribute Control Type Rules
With this release, additional flexibility has been added to the Override Control Type Rule component that gives users the option to choose between 'General Control Type Rules' and 'Attribute Control Type Rules' when configuring the display and behavior of the attribute values in the Web UI. While the first parameter option (General Control Type Rules) enables users to apply general rules for the display of validation base types, the second option (Attribute Control Type Rules) allows users to specify rules for specific attributes. The latter option enables Web UI administrators to configure the display of the validation base type of specified attributes differently and apply different control type settings on different screens if required.
The general and specific attribute control type rules are configured within the existing ‘Override Control Type Rule’ properties in the Web UI designer.

Optimized central authorship through new Globally Configured Unfolding Data Container
In the Web UI, a new Globally Configured Unfolding Data Container is now available, enabling users to display data container attribute values within an expanded view on a Node Details screen. The component facilitates the creation of new data container instances with attributes and references, and users can efficiently edit existing data containers and remove them as needed, while making use of features such as Address Typeahead and updated Override Control Type configurations, which make it easier to update and maintain data in the data containers.
The Globally Configured Unfolding Data Container component is added to a Node Editor child component within a Node Details screen.
