Summary
The PIM for Retail (renamed to Data Management Accelerator for Retail with the 11.0 release) ‘Vendor Data Onboarding’ module solution is a starter pack containing a ready-to-use configuration for retailers, based on common practices. It implements business processes powered by a buy-side / sell-side data model, workflows, Web UIs, etc. This module now includes a translation feature.
Details
The ‘Vendor Data Onboarding’ module has been enhanced to include translation functionality that allows translating sell side data in German and French. This enables retailers to show products in multiple languages based on distribution countries or the retailer’s own country. The translation can be handled internally via the Web UI or externally by an asynchronous translation service (like SDL or Lionbridge). Additionally, the user experience (Web UI, messages, etc.) is fully localized in French and German.
