Current Update - March 25, 2026

PDX continues to evolve with this update, delivering improved channel functionality and new features. The release includes a preview of planned innovations and incorporates system-level optimizations that enhance performance and stability.

This update includes new features, planned channel updates, and future update preview.

New Features

The new functionality is described below:

Email Notifications Now Enabled by Default

Email notifications for new Accepted, Rejected, Returned, and Retrieved products are now enabled by default for all PDX users, reducing time to market. Users can always opt out of such email notifications in their PDX account settings. For more information on setting notifications, refer to the Notifications section of the Profile and Account Settings topic.

Channel Account Deletion

Support for deleting channel accounts directly in the PDX UI has been added. The delete action is now available whenever an account has no assigned products. Also provided is clear guidance to notify the user when deletion is not allowed.

Improved Amazon Validation for More Reliable Publishing

The Amazon channels provide users the ability to validate Amazon products against Amazon's validation service. This function includes a validation message in PDX on the product summary page.

Users of the Amazon channels can receive information on errors and/or data issues without updating or creating products on the Amazon side.

With this release, the Validation process now mirrors real submissions, providing users with clear insight into which products already exist in Amazon. Additionally, the process of reviewing the data that was validated has been simplified.

  • When users validate a product, PDX now uses the same product data logic as that used during an actual submission.

  • If a product in PDX matches an existing Amazon product (for example via EAN/UPC/GTIN), the match is now detected and reflected during validation.

In the above screenshot, the text 'Validation found a match with existing ASIN: B0719KP7G9 via ean: 8859242000109' indicates that on the Amazon side an existing product matched the EAN of the product in PDX: 8859242000109. The product in Amazon has ASIN B0719KP7G9.

  • Attributes that are configured as 'Attributes that should not be updated after initial publish' are now pulled from Amazon and included in the validation.

  • The exact data sent to Amazon during validation is now recorded as any other submitted data in the submission log, from where it can be downloaded.

New Management Experience for Auto Categorization

PDX has introduced a new Auto Categorization experience, allowing users to understand, manage, and maintain auto categorization rules more easily.

Auto Categorization Overview Improvements

A new dashboard and clearer rule pages have been introduced, improving the viewibility and manageability of channel, category, and scheduled rules.

New Rule Creation Dialog

Rules are now created using a simple dialog where you name the rule and add conditions.

Updated Rule Lists

Rule lists now support bulk actions and provide a consistent way to inspect and edit rule details.
