The Master settings section contains attributes that exist in master data. This page provides the following attribute information: attribute name, attribute ID, origin (of the attribute, either internal or file), global and/or searchable status of the attribute, and type (such as integer, reference, or string).
Master Settings Column Information
Searchable — if this box is checked, the attribute will be searchable in the master data.
Type — this column identifies the type of attribute that has been created. To modify an attribute or to delete the attribute, click the 
to view the options for change or deletion:

Merge two attributes into one

Convert an attribute to an asset type

Convert an attribute to a string type

Delete an attribute
Important: If changing the Global or Searchable value of an attribute, user will need to manually refresh page for changes to be immediately viewable.
