Current Update - November 24, 2025
This release introduces new functionality designed to enhance your workflow while expanding our channel capabilities. We've developed features that directly address user needs and are advancing our platform with targeted channel updates that will strengthen your data management infrastructure.
This update includes new features, planned channel updates, and future update preview.
New Features
The new functionality is described below:
Ability to create enhanced content in Vendor Portal
Suppliers are now able to create enhanced content in the Vendor Portal. Much like Static Records in Enhanced Content Syndication, each enhanced content record in Vendor Portal is tied to a single product. This simplifies the workflow and aligns with the needs of small suppliers. Retailers control which enhanced content modules are available to suppliers in Vendor Portal via the Channel Portal.
AI-assisted Mappings Across Languages
The AI-assisted mapping feature is available in PDX for a range of channels. Admin users can enable AI mapping suggestions via the 'AI suggestions' toggle in Profile and account settings> Account >General settings.
With this release, the AI-assisted mapping translation capabilities in the Channel Mappings Dialog have been improved.
As a result, the AI-assisted mapping feature in the Channel Mappings Dialog is now able to suggest attribute mappings across languages, i.e., the AI is now capable of suggesting mappings between attributes in master data with names in one languages and channel attributes with names in another language.
Support for Item Update XML Operation in 1Worldsync Channel
With this release, it is now possible in the 1Worldsync channel to send item update messages using the action type called 'GDSN update' as an alternative to the currently used 'Modify.'
This 'GDSN update' operation only updates GDSN attributes while top off attributes that may be maintained in 1Worldsync Item Management remain intact. This can be used to prevent submissions from PDX from clearing out non-GDSN attributes.
The GDSN update can be activated for an IP GLN by adding the text 'GDSN Update' to the 'Item update XML operation' parameter in the Edit account dialog for the relevant IP GLNs. The change will take effect on submissions made from the IP GLN after saving the changes in the account dialog
If the 'Item update XML operation' parameter has any value other than 'GDSN Update,' the system will continue to use the current 'Modify' behavior.
Support for Kroger-specific Attributes in 1Worldsync Channel
As part of the IM 8.67 + 3.1.33 GDSN update, a new set of attributes specific for Kroger has been introduced. This is done to support the maintenance of data specific to Kroger in PDX.
Adding these attributes into the existing 1WorldSync PDX channel is described below.
On the Attribute selection screen of 1Worldsync channel configuration:
-
Make relevant Kroger attributes valid in the 1Worldsync channel.
-
Make the attribute 'Recipient Category / Destination' valid in the 1Worldsync channel.
In addition, 1Worldsync have recently changed the way data flows to Kroger. More information can be found in this link: https://community.1worldsync.com/t5/Kroger-API/ct-p/KrogerAPI.
Work is ongoing to support this new end-to-end flow directly out of the PDX 1WorldSync channel. Until this functionality is ready, users have 2 options:
-
Utilize 1WorldSync IM to manage the Kroger attribute values and manage the Kroger API flow. With this approach, ensure the new GDSN Update message type is enabled on the 1WorldSync channel.
-
Use the Kroger attributes added onto the 1WorldSync PDX channel to manage the Kroger attribute values. Manage the Kroger API flow directly within 1WorldSync IM.
Channel-specific Email Notifications
Email notifications about returned and rejected products in PDX will become channel specific:
-
For existing users with the old option enabled, all channels will be enabled.
-
For existing users with the old option disabled, no channels will be enabled.
