In the Web UI, users who work with address data can use the Address Typeahead functionality to add and update reliable address data by integrating with Loqate, Google Places, or another address search service. Starting to type an address in the Address Typeahead field displays suggestions of matches found by the configured address search service. Choosing an option from the suggestion list automatically populates all address attributes under the Address Typeahead search field with an address validated by the external service.
Setup includes a Global Representation, and once configured, Address Typeahead is available for selected address attributes on entity objects that are included in the Web UI via Node Details screen components.
Additionally, Address Typeahead is accessible for address attributes configured within the Globally Configured Unfolding Data Container. The functionality is configured and operates for the data container in a manner identical to that for address attributes outside the data container. Important: All functionality is documented in this section, however, the functionality available in your Web UI depends on your address search service. For example, Google Places does not offer the drill-down feature that is available with Loqate.
